Tips From My Grandfather

by Gwen
(Montana)

A few things my Grandfather used to say stay with me and inform much of my life. There was more, but these are some I remember best:

Be optimistic, the best is still to come.

Be the captain of your own life and ship, there are always up and down waves.

Be kind and gentle. Anger gets you nowhere.

Add respect to love and friendship.

It doesn't matter how much you earn but how much you save.

Don't blame others for failures you could have prevented. Move on to better things.

Don't waste time looking at your past. It's tomorrow that counts.

Don't love yourself too much.
