Sweet Corn Soup

Ingredients:



1 Pound of salt pork or bacon cut into bite size pieces

1 Bag of frozen corn kernels or, if you have fresh corn on the cob, cut kernels friom 8-12 ears of corn.

2 or 3 cans of kidney beans



Directions:



Lightly fry salt pork or bacon. Add kidney beans and cook until pork/bacon is completely cooked. Add corn and simmer for about 10 minutes more. Add a bit of milk or cream.

Serve this filling soup with a salad or some fruit that is in season.
