My Gran always used to tell me 'Things are never as bad as they seem'. When you're in the middle of a crisis you think your world is falling apart, but it gets better, and afterwards it wasn't really that bad. So when I'm going through hard times I remember my Gran telling me 'Things are never as bad as they seem', and she's right, they're not!
