I Didn't Do It

The best advice I ever got came from not just one person but quite a few. I can't go into a lot of detail about each and every time I was told what I eventually learned to live by.
My best advice came from my mom when, just as I was old enough to be potty trained, she, in a pleading voice, said "Don't do that." Everyone must have heard her and liked the simple advice because everybody through the years said the same thing.
My dad in a loud voice, my teachers in a demanding voice, my first girlfriend in a I'll tell on you voice, when I tried to steal a kiss.
In my later years I heard it from my wife,(many times), and my kids when I grounded them.
Lately I hear it mostly from my doctor(s), my lawyer, my accountant, the IRS and probably a few more that I can't remember because I didn't listen to my doctor(s)
best advice.
Only one piece of advice from me..."Don't Do That!"
