Have a Morning Phrase to Start the Day Right

Mom didn't actually say to me: You need to have a morning phrase or words to wake up to. She taught me that with her actions.
Every morning she would come into our room and say in a singing voice: "Arriba los corazones" meaning "Up my dear hearts", and we would answer "Demos Gracias a Dios" meaning "Let's all thank God".
Even though I'm not a morning person, I loved waking up to her "Up my dear hearts", I felt her love in her voice, so when I answered "let's all thank God" I actually meant it.
With that morning ritual, our Mom taught us to think of love and gratitude as soon as we woke up.
Through the years, I've changed my morning phrase to suit my needs. These days is pretty generic and somewhat odd. But it is what it is, here is my phrase: "The sheets feel so good, today is a good day"
