Thanksgiving Traditions
and Thanksgiving Recipes

Thanksgiving traditions create lifelong memories. Thanksgiving recipes help create a memorable Thanksgiving dinner.

Thanksgiving is just a week away. The Best Advice From Mom website has lots of pages about Thanksgiving. All of them are linked from the Thanksgiving Traditions page. You will find Thanksgiving recipes, Thanksgiving table prayers, information about the history of Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving poems, quotes, jokes and activities for children.

One of my other websites also offers recipes. The home page of the Best Potato Recipes website has links to all of our favorite Thanksgiving potato and sweet potato recipes.

The next few days will likely take you to the grocery store to stock up on ingredients for Thanksgiving meals. With 22 family members and friends coming to our home next Thursday, I know that I will. In order to save as much as possible on the grocery bill, I signed up at grocery savings at CoolSavings.com for grocery coupons, discount codes and money saving tips! You can print the coupons you want right from your computer.

I hope Thanksgiving is a day of joy for you with good food and warm connection with those you love. If you don’t have an invitation to Thanksgiving dinner, consider inviting someone to share the day with you.

Ah! on Thanksgiving day....
When the care-wearied man seeks his mother once more,
And the worn matron smiles where the girl smiled before.
What moistens the lips and what brightens the eye?
What calls back the past, like the rich pumpkin pie?

~John Greenleaf Whittier
