Frugal Christmas Gift Ideas

Here are lots of ideas for frugal Christmas gifts to make and frugal gifts that will be enjoyed all year long.

Homemade Gifts in a Jar are some of the cheapest, and easiest, gifts to make. A clear jar that you already have, or can pick up in a thrift shop, filled with goodies will delight someone of almost any age. Add a pretty bow and you're done!

Family Gift Ideas include lots of tips for gifts that are more about family togetherness than about a pricy, shiny "next new thing." These are the kinds of gifts that create memories and are often remembered as "the best gift I ever received."

Homemade Infant Toys can also often be created from things you have on hand. Remember the comment we often make about babies and the gifts we give them: "they put the gift aside and played with the wrapping paper and box!" These homemade gifts will have that same attraction for the babies on your gift list.

Whatever you can spend on Christmas gifts, remember that it is the heart of love that makes the gift a joy to receive.

The only gift is a portion of thyself. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
